I did
not wish anything for my twen’yth birthday but instead I hope and prayed A LOT
that I could pass the law entrance exam at Xavier University, good health for
my family and most especially Raeka and no memory gaps since lately I could
hardly remember where I leave things and it’s alarming for me. I just wanted to
have fun if ever God will permit me to enter the XU’s law school or else I’ll
end up at the I-don’t-so-like-school law school. I won’t mention it but
probably you’ll be guessing right now. Anyway, yesterday was a blast although I
felt there’s something missing (never mind why I thought of something
like that); I was still then having fun, having fun of eating a lot, A LOT of foods. At about two o’clock
in the afternoon after I took a bath, my cousin Ate Joy arrived together with
his younger brother Rj. They brought pancit cantons and ice cream. It was not a
surprise though. We had planned it a day before my 2oth yet I was touched with
their effort. Even it was just a pancit canton and an ice cream to blow still
my smile reached my ears. It was a one sizzling Saturday and an ice cream is
perfect for refreshment. Nomnom all we can!
At the end of the day, the planned date with the family at
the city was changed due to the delayed flight of my Papa. Thanks Cebu Pac, we
ended eating at Seablings Restaurant. Probably, it was God’s plan. The restaurant’s
singer sang the happy birthday song then I was busy sending SMS to everyone
that I did not notice the waiter bringing a cake with lighted candles on it. I found
myself blushing! That's my cousin Abby Nicole. I knew she was full and was just waiting for the sweets to be served.
Thank you Mama for my outfit. (Forever 21, SM Cebu branch)
The restaurant's design was familiar since we had our feasiblity study here when I was still in 3rd year college. It is like an Arabian, Mexican and Singaporean style. And yes we were told that the design was inspired from the owner's trips from different countries that is why you cannot recognize which is which.
The interior design is welcoming. The lights and the details gives an questionable impression on how did they arrive with a unique design. I did not see any restaurant with a design like this. Especially at different cities across the country which I have visited. It's like welcoming more tourists.
The watermelon shake is for refreshment. Honestly, when the waiter told me about the melon shake, I thought the melon that he was trying to say was the kantalop, which is one of my favorite fruit, but I was just shocked when he served a pink colored shake. Only I was too late to found out, it was really the watermelon he meant. Epic fail! But no regrets, I was refreshed!
Blowing the candle, I know it's blur. Thanks anyway Pa for tooking the picture blur again haha :D
Thank you Seablings for serenading me! Thank you for the cake! *insert blushing face*
Nomnom time! Sinigang shrimp, it taste just like the delicious sinigang of my Father. The chef I bet knows the native way of cooking the dish.
more shrimps...
Calamares my favorite!!!
Fish fillet with their sweet sauce.
Creamy chicken sisig @.@ The first time I tasted a sisig like this. I ended up feeding my tummy with this one since I love creaminess and sweetness. CREAMY SISIG!
Sorry friends, I am not good at describing foods but I am good at eating. Try Seablings! It's worth it. Sorry for the low quality of photos. Fail. Thank you Papa and Mama for this day. I am now 20 and there's still many opportunities waiting for me. I am still a teen until I'll reach 21. My heart says I am still a teen although at the age bracket I do not belong with them anymore. Nomnom all we can! I am hungry now, so byebye :))
PS
Sorry if there are grammatical errors you'll spot. I'm in excitement posting this. Criticisms are not allowed but I am open for corrections. I am not perfect! And don't think you're perfect too, okay?
